Question: While playing in a park a child was stung by a Wesp. some elders suggested applying paste of bag baking soda and others lemon juice as a remedy. which remedy do you think is appropriate and why?
I think baking soda is better remedy then lemon juice in treatment of Wesp sting.
Because Wesp sting releases liquid material into the body which is acidic in nature.
Acidic substance neutralizes by basic substance. And baking soda is basic in nature.
Wild lemon juice will increase redness and pain.
