One of the traditions in my country is celebrating the Lunar New Year, which is also known as the Spring Festival. It is a time to honor the ancestors, reunite with family, exchange gifts, and enjoy festive food. The celebration lasts for 15 days, from the first day of the first lunar month to the Lantern Festival on the 15th day. Some of the customs include cleaning the house, decorating with red lanterns and couplets, wearing new clothes, setting off fireworks, and giving red envelopes with money to children and elders. The Lunar New Year is a very important and joyful occasion for my country and culture.
