In this blog post, I will explain why Accenture focuses on data reporting when working with clients on sustainability. Data reporting is not only a compliance requirement, but also a strategic tool to measure, manage and communicate the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and impact of an organization.

Data reporting helps Accenture and its clients to:

- Align their sustainability goals with global standards and frameworks, such as the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), the World Economic Forum International Business Council (WEF IBC) metrics, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
