Question: Describe a time when you stuck in traffic jam cue card?
One of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had was when I got stuck in a traffic jam for more than two hours. It was a rainy day and I was on my way to an important meeting. I left home early, hoping to avoid the rush hour, but as soon as I got on the highway, I saw a long line of cars ahead of me. Apparently, there was an accident on the road and the police had blocked one lane. The traffic was moving very slowly and there was no way to take a detour.
I felt very anxious and annoyed as I watched the clock ticking and the rain pouring. I tried to call my boss and explain the situation, but he didn't answer. I also tried to listen to some music or a podcast to distract myself, but nothing helped. I just wanted to get out of there and reach my destination. I felt like I was wasting my time and energy in that traffic jam.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the traffic started to clear up and I was able to drive faster. I reached the meeting place almost three hours late and missed most of the presentation. My boss was very angry with me and didn't accept my apology. He said that I should have planned better and left earlier. I felt very embarrassed and disappointed in myself. I learned a valuable lesson that day: never underestimate the power of a traffic jam.
