This way, the ledger is secure, transparent, and immutable. I also explained that smart contracts are self-executing agreements that are stored on the blockchain and can automate various processes and tasks.

The client seemed to grasp the main points of my explanation and asked some follow-up questions. I answered them as best as I could, using simple language and examples.
